MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 10, 2019—FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) announced today that it has been named a 2019 Best-of-the-Best Corporation for Inclusion by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and the National Business Inclusion Consortium (NBIC). This prestigious award recognizes companies across the country that have demonstrated their commitment to America’s diverse employees and business owners, which includes LGBTQ people, people of color, women and people with disabilities.

“FedEx is a global company that is as diverse as the world we serve,” said Raj Subramaniam, President and Chief Operating Officer of FedEx Corporation. “We celebrate these differences and strive to provide an inclusive workplace in which all team members feel safe and respected. We are honored that our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to the LGBTQ community in particular, is being recognized by the NGLCC.”

“The Best-of-the-Best designation is highly competitive and is bestowed only to corporations that we see constantly striving to strengthen and celebrate diversity,” said NGLCC Co-Founder and President Justin Nelson. These corporations being honored are true leaders in ongoing global commitments to create a better future for all diverse communities in business.”

NGLCC formed the National Business Inclusion Consortium in 2011. Its members represent a total of over $9 trillion in annual economic strength along with significant contributions to the marketplace and workplace. Only companies achieving industry leading results across all diverse segments are eligible to receive the prestigious Best-of-the-Best designation from the NBIC.

The 2019 Best-of-the-Best award will be presented to the company at an awards gala at the historic Washington Hilton in Washington, DC on April 10. For more information about the award, visit https://www.nglcc.org/events/2019-nbic-best-best-awards.
