LEXINGTON, Va. – April 23, 2012 – Five drivers representing FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) operating companies placed among the top finishers at the Virginia State Truck Driving Championship in Lexington on April 20-21.
- Mark Brundage, a driver for FedEx Express domiciled in Herndon, captured the top spot in the Step Van class for the second straight year.
- Hector Novoa, owner of Trinity Transport of Chantilly Inc. based at the FedEx Ground station in Chantilly, earned his second state title with his top finish in the Twins class.
- FedEx Express drivers Frank Woods (Christianburg) and Tommy Staubs (Dulles) placed second in the Step Van and 3-Axle classes, respectively.
- Matthew Bartnett, owner of Bartnett Trucking Corp. based at the FedEx Ground station in Fredericksburg, posted third in the Step Van class.
