As the official carrier partner of the ATP men’s tennis tour, FedEx Express (FedEx) recently sponsored the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships 2014, held from September 29 to October 5 at the Ariake Tennis Coliseum, Tokyo.

As part of its sponsorship, FedEx set up a booth at the tournament, which attracted more than 4,600 visitors. The booth featured a fun tennis-themed game where challengers hit tennis balls at targets to win one of a range of original FedEx prizes, including signed FedEx goods.

In addition, two top players at the tournament dropped by for autograph sessions, Kevin Anderson, ranked 16 in the ATP rankings (as of October 6) on Tuesday, September 30 and Gilles Simon, ranked 29 in the ATP rankings (as of October 6) on Thursday, October 2. The two players mixed with many tennis fans, shaking hands and posing for photos as well as signing items.
