YOUR DENVER SHIPPING GUIDE

Where in Denver will the shipment actually wait?

Identify whether your goods are at a home, hotel, workplace or shop. Use that premises' complete street address, unit, mailing city, Colorado or CO and ZIP code. An accommodation booking office or the seller's billing address may not be the collection point.

If the parcel is held in Aurora, Lakewood or another nearby community, retain its actual mailing address. A Denver-area description can provide context but cannot replace it. If you plan to bring goods into Denver from a mountain location, confirm the final origin before requesting collection.

Skis, snowboards and other long parcels

Give measurements for the package as it will be handed over. A ski's length alone does not describe a case containing skis, boots or protective materials. State whether the shipment is in a rigid case, bag or outer box and ask whether that preparation is suitable for the proposed service.

  1. Assign each packed piece a number.
  2. Record its contents and quantity.
  3. Measure the longest outside length, width and height, including protruding parts.
  4. Weigh the completed package and state the units, using lb/in or kg/cm consistently.
  5. Give the destination country and postal code for the quote.

Separate equipment being shipped from items you will carry yourself. Disclose batteries, sprays, fuel containers or other special contents before a service is chosen. Do not infer acceptance from an airline's baggage rules or from the equipment fitting inside a case.

Release from a shop or hotel requires agreement

Ask the shop or reception whether they will hold and release the packed shipment to the agreed collection service. Obtain a local contact and any order or release reference. Confirm the entrance and available hours, and explain if the goods need to be moved from another room before handover.

Shop staff may not provide packing or paperwork, and hotel staff may not be able to keep goods after checkout. Establish those arrangements before leaving. A flight time, room checkout or equipment-return deadline does not reserve a collection slot.

If your trip starts elsewhere in Colorado

Use the Colorado shipping guide for mountain and private-road access details. For your own transfer to Denver, the CDOT I-70 travel page links to road-condition information. Keep EPS informed if your parcel will not reach the agreed origin as planned; road information does not establish a collection commitment.

Check the quote before authorizing release

Confirm the service, charges, handover procedure and delivery estimate. Ask which documents apply to the contents and destination. If packaging or the collection address changes, provide the new details for review.

This guide describes an area from which collection can be requested. It does not identify an EPS branch or parcel drop-off counter.
