Keep inter-island movements separate in the request
If goods are held on different islands, list each origin rather than giving one combined package count without addresses. Tell EPS whether you need separate assessments or whether someone plans to bring the goods together at an agreed location.
Do not arrange an inter-island transfer on the assumption that it is included in an international parcel quote. Have any proposed collection address, responsible holder and packing plan reviewed first. Moving the goods changes the origin details used to prepare the offer.
Confirm what a seller or accommodation provider will release
For purchases or belongings held after a visit, ask the holder to confirm storage, packing and release arrangements. A shop receipt or hotel reservation does not confirm that a finished parcel is ready for collection. Provide the contact responsible for the actual packages.
Describe the goods individually. Identify food, plant material, liquids, batteries, fragile items or other contents needing review before assuming a transport service is suitable. EPS needs the contents and destination to assess the request; this general guide does not confirm acceptance of a particular item.
Provide measurements and a realistic readiness date
- List each parcel and its contents.
- Record weight including all packaging.
- Measure the outer length, width and height.
- Choose lbs/inch or kg/cm in the form.
- Give the overseas country, city and postal code.
Include the holder's available hours and any access instructions. If you are coordinating from another time zone, write the intended handover date clearly and confirm it with the person releasing the shipment. A preferred date remains a request until the service is agreed.
