Specify local time when arranging release
Indiana's official time-zone guidance explains that the state uses both Eastern and Central time. Ask the holder to identify the time zone used at the actual collection address when providing business hours or a readiness deadline.
For example, report a confirmed window as 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time and identify Eastern or Central, rather than assuming every Indiana location follows the same clock. This is the holder's availability for review, not a reserved courier appointment. Tell EPS if the contact or opening hours change.
Prepare a complete package record

- State whether the shipment is a purchase, return or your own property.
- List every finished carton or case with its packed weight.
- Give its outside length, width and height, using lb/in or kg/cm clearly.
- Disclose batteries, liquids, fragile items and unusual handling needs.
Ask the holder for measurements after packing is complete. Product dimensions and an order's estimated weight may differ from the actual shipment. If a workshop is still finishing the goods, give the expected readiness date and update the request when final figures are available.
Distinguish packing, release and transport
Confirm who will provide suitable packaging and attach the agreed labels and documents. Identify the person authorized to release all packages and the entrance used for outgoing goods. A supplier's completion notice does not by itself arrange collection or packing assistance.
