Describe the physical release point at a rural property
If parcels are at a ranch, workshop, lodge or another property outside a town centre, give its complete physical address. A property name, postal mailbox or landmark alone may not identify where someone can hand over the shipment. Ask the holder to confirm the entrance and the building containing the parcels.
Explain known access conditions, such as a gate, private approach or separate workshop entrance. Provide a contact who understands those arrangements and can answer questions. Do not assume that a collection request authorises access or includes moving goods from a distant part of the property.
If a different collection point is suggested, have its full address reviewed before moving the boxes. An offer based on one origin does not automatically apply to another location. EPS confirms arrangements for the specific address and service.
Turn a group of items into a clear parcel list
Ask the holder to confirm which items are packed and ready. If goods from several purchases are being combined, the final carton count and measurements may differ from the original orders. Use the details of the packages that will actually be released.
- Describe the contents and quantities for each parcel.
- Weigh each box after protective packing is complete.
- Measure the outside length, width and height.
- Select lbs/inch or kg/cm in the quotation form.
- Identify fragile goods, batteries, liquids or unusual materials for review.
For equipment, explain the actual items and whether they are boxed, cased or still unpacked. A description such as outdoor gear does not show everything inside. Ask EPS to assess the contents and packing format before treating an item as accepted.
Coordinate readiness with the overseas route
Supply the destination city, country and postal code, plus the readiness date and the release contact's available hours. If the property is used seasonally or the holder is leaving, explain who will remain responsible for the parcels.
Review the quotation and preparation instructions before accepting. A preferred pickup day is a request until arrangements are confirmed. Report any change to the address, packing or contact before finalising the service.
