Nashville's official visitor guide includes a Guitar Trail featuring instrument shops and attractions. If you purchase an instrument during a visit, arrange release with the actual seller. A shop's inclusion in that guide does not make it an EPS partner or collection counter.
Give the instrument type, brand or model where relevant, condition and quantity. List accessories separately, including anything placed inside the case. Identify the order or repair reference the seller needs to match the correct goods, and explain whether this is a purchase, repair return or shipment of your own equipment.
Measure the final package around the instrument
The length of a guitar or keyboard is not the size of the packed shipment. State whether it will be in a soft bag, rigid case, outer carton or another arrangement. Obtain the outside length, width and height and packed weight after all agreed protection is in place.
- Give a record for each instrument case or carton.
- Identify separate amplifier, pedalboard or accessory packages.
- Use lb/in or kg/cm consistently.
- Disclose batteries, liquids and unusual handling needs.
- Explain any item too large or heavy for ordinary parcel handling.
Ask the seller, manufacturer or an experienced packer about suitable preparation for the item and check the proposed packing with the selected transport service. A hard case alone does not establish acceptance. Confirm who will pack the goods before collection is arranged.
Who can release goods at the shop or studio?
