Washington State or Washington, DC?
Enter United States as the origin country and Washington or WA as the state. Washington, DC is a different origin. Include the actual mailing city and ZIP code instead of using Washington alone. The state-wide collection statement on this page does not establish service in the District of Columbia.
Use the parcel's location, not the nearest city
A purchase described as being in the Seattle area may be held at a different city's address. Likewise, goods in Spokane, Tacoma or another Washington community need their own collection details. Ask the person holding the shipment to confirm the street, unit, mailing city and ZIP code before requesting a price.
If you plan to move the goods to another location before shipping, quote from the final handover address. Do not assume that a service assessed for one origin is available at the replacement address on the same terms.
Flag island, rural or restricted access early
If reaching the premises involves a ferry, private road, gate or limited opening hours, describe that when requesting collection. Give the person responsible for handover and explain where the packed boxes can be released. EPS must assess the particular arrangement before confirming a pickup date or price.
For your own journey planning, Washington State Ferries provides terminal information and travel alerts. A ferry timetable does not confirm courier coverage, and a transport route should not be inferred from it.
Prepare a route and parcel brief
- Origin: the full Washington collection address and any access conditions.
- Destination: the recipient country, city and postal code.
- Each package: contents, quantity, packed weight and outside length, width and height, with lb/in or kg/cm stated.
- Readiness: when packing will be complete and who can release the goods.
Mention batteries, liquids, fragile items or unusual dimensions before choosing a service. If items are spread across two addresses, keep separate origin and package lists. Bringing them together, repacking or storage requires an agreed arrangement.
