Use the property address, not only a Kamloops area name
Enter the building number, full road name, unit, Kamloops, BC and postal code supplied by the sender. Retain any direction or other component that belongs to the address. A neighbourhood, road junction or business trading name may help describe the premises but does not replace the physical location.
The City of Kamloops Maps & Apps portal includes CityMap and property information tools. Use these municipal resources to clarify the address with the sender. A map reference is not confirmation that a carrier can collect the shipment.
Choose one handover point at premises with several buildings
A workshop, shared property or office site may have several entrances or units. Identify the building holding the packed boxes and the person responsible for releasing them. Describe the proposed entrance separately from the main street address, with any reception, gate or appointment requirements.
If parcels are stored away from the front office, explain that before booking. State any known handling needs and relevant access hours. Do not assume a driver can search the site, move goods between buildings or collect from a different entrance without an agreed arrangement.
Keep separate origins separate in the quote request
When arranging shipping for several people or business locations, group each box list under its own origin and contact. Goods stored outside Kamloops need their actual community and physical address, even if correspondence uses Kamloops as the regional reference.
For each group, provide the destination country and full recipient address, contents, shipment purpose and packed weight and dimensions of every parcel. Use kg / cm or lbs / inch consistently. Identify any item needing special acceptance or documentation before confirming a booking.
