Keep the Township of Langley distinct from Langley City

A Langley address should be checked with the person holding the shipment. The City of Langley's municipal history explains that Langley City is a separate municipality from the Township. This guide concerns an origin in the Township of Langley; it does not assume that every address described as Langley belongs to the same municipality.

Provide the complete civic number and road name, unit or suite, sender's locality, BC and postal code. Include Canada when coordinating with someone abroad. Keep the confirmed postal address intact and explain the municipality in the enquiry if it is unclear.

Use local community names as supporting address details

The Township identifies communities including Fort Langley, Walnut Grove and Willoughby in its community information. A community name helps describe an origin, but it does not identify the unit or building where a parcel is ready. Ask the sender to confirm the exact premises and proposed entrance.

For a business park, shared building or rural property, distinguish the public entrance from the place where goods will be released. Explain reception, gate or appointment arrangements in advance and provide a local contact. A map pin or shop name alone cannot replace the physical address.

Confirm the dispatch site for a supplier order

If a company accepts orders at one premises and packs them elsewhere, use the actual dispatch site as the collection origin. Ask whether the packages are ready and who can release them. When several suppliers are involved, keep an address, package list and contact for each one.

List the final packed weight and outside length, width and height of each parcel in kg / cm or lbs / inch. Include the contents, purpose of sending and full international recipient address. For goods held in Surrey or Abbotsford, keep those origins rather than the customer's Langley address.

Township of Langley shipping questions

Does this guide also identify a Langley City counter?

No. It is a collection-area guide for the Township. Provide the actual address for an individual service check and wait for confirmed handover instructions.

Should I change the sender's postal locality?

Retain the confirmed postal address and clarify the physical municipality with the sender. Do not invent a replacement locality or postal code.

Can goods be collected from a rural property?

Describe the premises, entrance and responsible contact. Availability and access arrangements are assessed for the individual shipment before booking.

Review the agreed service

Check the carrier, charges, required documents, collection instructions and transit estimate. Update EPS if the dispatch site or packed measurements change. Browse the British Columbia guide for other areas.

This is a collection-area guide, not an EPS branch or drop-off counter. Rates, carrier, collection arrangements and transit estimates are confirmed for the individual shipment before booking.
