Keep the Kitchener street direction in the address
Copy the building number, street name, any direction, unit, Kitchener, ON and postal code from the sender’s complete address. For example, King Street East and King Street West must not be shortened to an ambiguous “King Street”. Do not infer the suffix from the direction you would drive to reach the premises.
The City of Kitchener maps page provides street-index and interactive mapping resources. Use municipal mapping to clarify a road or location with the sender, then confirm the actual address and unit. Mapping is not a carrier availability check.
Kitchener and Waterloo are separate collection municipalities
The City’s Waterloo Region overview lists Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge as distinct cities in the region. Enter Kitchener when the packed goods are held there; use the Waterloo guide for a Waterloo origin.
A regional business name or a general “Kitchener-Waterloo” description should not replace the collection municipality. If some boxes are stored at a second address, provide a separate origin, contact and package list for those boxes.
Explain the handover at shared premises
For an apartment, shared house or business building, identify the unit and person releasing the shipment. State whether the proposed handover is at the unit, an entrance or reception, and ask EPS to confirm the arrangement. Do not leave parcels with a neighbour or reception desk without their agreement and confirmed instructions.
Give the destination country and recipient address, contents and shipment purpose. List each parcel’s packed weight and outer dimensions using kg / cm or lbs / inch consistently. State relevant availability hours and any deadline before booking.

Is “Kitchener-Waterloo” enough for a collection address?
Use the actual municipality, full street address and postal code. The regional description can be additional context.
Can I omit East or West from the road name?
Retain the direction when it forms part of the sender’s address, and confirm unclear details before collection is arranged.

Tell EPS the new physical origin and contact so availability and the quote can be reviewed before booking.
