Ask whether the proposed container needs further preparation. A suitcase or shopping bag should not be assumed suitable without review. If the holder cannot weigh or pack the goods, explain the missing information instead of presenting a guess as a final measurement.
Check timing before the property releases anything
Confirm the service, charges, documentation and handover instructions with EPS. If you depart first, keep a contact available to resolve questions with the holder. A hotel request does not include terminal collection, storage or packing unless those arrangements are specifically agreed.

Does a lost-property reference confirm that an item is packed?
No. Ask the holder what packaging exists, who can finish preparation and when the parcel can be released. The reference identifies the item, not its transport readiness.
Is collection from a nearby terminal included?
