Identify which High Street holds your purchase
Give the town name as well as the street when requesting collection from a shop. Teddington High Street and Hampton Wick High Street are separate locations. The Hampton Wick Association business directory also lists businesses away from its High Street. Confirm the seller’s actual release address, the order reference and the person authorised to hand over the goods. If an item is stored off site, use that address for the request. Ask whether transport packaging is included in the sale and obtain the packed dimensions before seeking a quotation.
Arrange release of art purchases or exhibition work
The Landmark Arts Centre on Ferry Road, Teddington, provides opportunities for artists and makers through fairs and its shop. For work being sent from there, establish whether the artist, event organiser or shop holds it and who may release it. Identify each piece, its materials, value and whether it is framed or unframed. Agree protective packaging with the owner or an appropriate packer, then measure the finished package. State any glass, ceramic or other fragile components. A public opening time does not establish an agreed collection window or permission to leave work after an exhibition.
Confirm the department and entrance for equipment
The National Physical Laboratory’s visitor information identifies its main Teddington entrance on Hampton Road and a separate Queens Road entrance for Bushy House events. If goods are at either premises, ask the responsible department for the authorised collection arrangements; visitor directions alone do not establish goods access. Include a release contact and any relevant equipment or job reference. Record instrument cases, accessories and documents separately so the owner can check the consignment. Declare batteries and other contents requiring review. These local references do not imply an EPS contract with the laboratory or access to its facilities.
Prepare one parcel list for each origin
For a home, office or studio, supply the building and unit number, street, full postcode and contact available for handover. Explain entry systems, stairs, lifts and where the boxes can safely be made available. Number each package and record its contents, value, packed weight and outside dimensions in the selected units. Match the list to the goods released by the resident, seller or department. Add the destination address and any required arrival date. If part of the shipment is in Teddington and part in Hampton Wick, identify the two origins so collection options can be assessed accurately.

Shipping questions
Does this guide also identify an address in Hampton or Hampton Hill?
No. Hampton Wick, Hampton and Hampton Hill are different place names. Use the full address and postcode of the premises holding your goods, rather than selecting a nearby name because it sounds similar. EPS will check the proposed origin individually.
Can parcels from a shop and a home be included in one request?
Yes, describe the goods and collection address for each origin. Explain whether you plan to bring them together before collection or need separate handovers. Do not assume that a single quoted collection covers multiple stops; the arrangement must be confirmed.
