Naming only the neighbourhood or saying community centre can leave the origin unclear. Supply the property name, street, postcode and room or unit holding the goods. Check the current address directly with the organiser or seller before asking for collection.

Agree loading arrangements for the specific premises

For the Rathbone Market centre, the council’s Canning Town directory describes a single loading and unloading space available on request, with access via Mary Street. Confirm permission and the appropriate handover entrance with the site. Those arrangements do not apply automatically to other homes or venues in Custom House. Explain stairs, carrying distances and any restricted access period in your enquiry, so the proposed collection can be assessed against the real circumstances.

Keep each sender’s packages identifiable
