Holloway Road: identify the premises, not just the road
Holloway Road connects several different parts of north London. Give the property number, complete postcode and any flat or business unit, then identify the entrance used for the handover. A landmark around Nag’s Head or Holloway Road station is useful orientation, but cannot replace the address where the goods are held. If the door for a flat is separate from the shop below it, include that distinction in the enquiry.
Nag’s Head purchases and seller handover
For an item bought from a trader around Nag’s Head or the indoor market at the Holloway end of Seven Sisters Road, confirm where it will be packed and stored. Include the trader’s name, unit or stall details and the person who can release it. Ask whether the item stays on site or moves to separate premises after sale. Market opening hours do not by themselves confirm that a seller is available for an agreed collection.
Second-hand goods: describe the item after packing
Vintage homeware, books, framed work and other purchases can need different packaging. Identify fragile parts, loose components and the material of the item, and give its finished packed dimensions and weight. Tell EPS if the seller cannot box or protect it; do not assume that a collection request includes packing at the market. Keep a clear description of what was purchased and explain whether it is a personal purchase, business order or return.
Lower Holloway flats and shared entrances
For household boxes in Lower Holloway, state the flat number, floor and who will manage the actual handover. Describe stairs, communal doors or any lift limitation relevant to the packed boxes. If you will have moved away before the proposed collection, agree a release contact who can access every package. A neighbour, landlord or shopkeeper should not be listed as that contact unless they have agreed to the arrangement.
Separating orders from more than one premises
If purchases come from different Holloway Road shops, decide whether they will be brought to one confirmed address before collection. List each package with its weight, dimensions and contents once it is ready. When items remain with separate sellers, identify the separate origins and contacts; an enquiry for one shipment does not automatically include visits to several premises. Explain any deadline before EPS assesses the collection plan.
Use the correct neighbouring London locality
Keep the sender’s actual address when goods are held towards Highbury, Archway or another district. Nag’s Head is a local Holloway landmark; Seven Sisters Road is not the same place as every address described as Seven Sisters. Consult the London overview for other areas. Stations, markets and other landmarks in this guide are not EPS branches or drop-off counters.

Shipping questions
Can a Nag’s Head trader release my purchase for shipping?
Include the trader’s agreement, the actual release address and contact, and the finished package measurements. If the item will move elsewhere for packing, use that final origin. EPS checks the shipment and collection requirements before confirming an arrangement.
Which Holloway address should I give if I have already moved?
Provide the address where the packed boxes are still held, with the flat or unit and postcode. Identify the person who has agreed to release all of them and explain the building access. Your new address or a nearby station is not a substitute for the collection origin.
